Any words for your fellow iron warriors? Don't give up on your goals, dreams, and aspirations in life. There will be roadblocks along the way. Overcoming them will only enable you to become a stronger person. Be consistent and persistent.
Source of Inspiration: My mother is the biggest influence in my life. She gave her all as a single parent of 5 kids who worked harder than anyone I know to support her family. Her drive is instilled within me.
Something people don’t know about you: If you coat anything in peanut butter I can eat it. (Better yet, just give me a jar and a spoon!)
Started bodybuilding: In High School - 15 years old
How many hours a day/week do train? Average of 2 hours daily for 6 or 7 days a week.
Contest Prep: 12 weeks out.
What do you like most about bodybuilding? I like the challenge of transforming my body from one stage to the next. I like the end result, being onstage and the camaraderie among the competitors.
What crosses your mind before hitting the weights? I rehearse my workout in my mind on the way to the gym. I think about the weight I want to lift and how I'm going to get through my workout.
How do you psych yourself up? I use music as a driving force to push through tough workouts. I have to focus on the workout at hand and its impact on my end result. I think about what will happen if I slack. I know if I do, I won't be happy with the final product.
What drives you to perfection? I think about my competition and how hard they train. I think about what I need to do to improve particular body parts. I have also had to use others' negativity and turn it around, letting it positively impact my workout.
What's most freaky about you? I consider myself somewhat balanced. If I had to pick a part I would say quads.
Favorite part to hit in the gym? Arms.
Favorite food(s)? Peanut butter and fried chicken.
Leo “The Freak” Ingram is a top-tier IFBB pro who has stood shoulder-to-shoulder on-stage with some of the most legendary bodybuilders in the world. This muscle-bearing freak has some of the sickest vascularity you will ever see. When you look at Leo's physique, you can't argue against his hard work and dedication towards bodybuilding, which stems from his work as a military engineer in the US Navy. Leo spent a total of four years stationed on the USS Vandegrift. During this time, Leo still pounded the weights to keep his freakish size and unimaginable strength.
